Clear Gelly of Bran

Ingredients

• two pound of the broadest open Bran of the best Wheat
• a Gallon of Water

Method

1. 1

   Take the Bran and put it to infuse in Water for two or three days.

   Then boil it three or four times, strain it through a fine strainer, and let the milky substance settle for half a day.

   Pour off the clear water and boil it up to a gelly, seasoning it to your taste.
