Chocolate Whips. Scrape % of a cake of chocolate, and dis- solve with 2 tablespoonfuls of sugar in y teacupful of boiling water ; add to ^ of a pt. of milk, y2 cupful of sugar, 3 tablespoonfuls of smooth cornstarch ; add to 1 y2 pts. of boiling milk with yolks of 5 eggs ; stir till it thickens ; add y2 of a saltspoonful of salt
