Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup sweet milk
• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 cups flour
• 2 squares chocolate
• 1 cup raisins
• 1 cup nuts
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 egg and a yolk
• 2 teaspoon baking powder

Method

   Cream the butter and sugar, add the eggs which have been well beaten, then add the chocolate.

   Mix all other dry ingredients and add them alternating with the milk.

   Add flavoring last.

   Drop on a slightly buttered pan, using a teaspoon for each cookie.
