Chicken with Gravy

Ingredients

• a tablespoonful of butter
• half of a cupful of cream or rich milk
• three hard-boiled eggs chopped fine
• a tablespoonful of flour
• some minced herbs

Method

1. 1

   Cook the chicken in a covered pail in boiling water until tender.

   Dish up the chicken, pour the gravy into a saucepan, add butter, cream, chopped eggs, minced herbs, and flour.

   Let it boil and pour over the chicken.

   Serve hot.
