Chicken Dressed as Terrapin

Ingredients

• young chickens
• half of a cup of butter
• a teaspoonful of powdered thyme
• two hard-boiled eggs

Method

1. 1

   Clean and cut the chicken into pieces, cook with just enough water.

   When tender, stir in butter and a beaten egg, season with salt, pepper, thyme, and add minced hard-boiled eggs and wine.

   Boil once and serve with jelly.
