Cheap Melted Butter

Ingredients

• 1 oz. flour
• ^ oz. dripping
• ^ oz. butter
• ^ pint cold water
• 1 pinch of salt

Method

   Melt the dripping in a saucepan, then add flour and mix well.

   Gradually add water and salt while stirring until smooth.

   Stir over heat until it boils, then boil for three minutes and stir in the butter.
