Cakes, Rice Griddle

Ingredients

• One and a half cupful of cold boiled rice
• one pint of flour
• one teaspoonful of salt
• 3 well beaten eggs

Method

   Mix rice, flour, salt, and beaten eggs with boiled milk to make a batter thicker than for common griddle cakes.

   If the milk is hot, let it cool before adding eggs.
