Buns

Ingredients

• two cupfuls of white sugar
• two cupfuls of milk
• one cupful of yeast
• flour enough to make a thin dough
• one cupful of lard or butter
• one grated nutmeg

Method

1. 1

   Mix sugar, milk, yeast, and flour to make a thin dough and let it rise.

   After rising, add lard or butter, nutmeg, and more flour.

   Shape into buns, brush with beaten egg, and let rise again before baking.
