Ingredients

• Cut cold boiled or roast beef into slices
• squeeze and chop some cabbage that has been dressed
• put both together into a frying pan, with a little butter
• pepper and salt, if requisite

   Cut cold boiled or roast beef into slices and squeeze and chop some dressed cabbage.

   Put both into a frying pan with a little butter, pepper, and salt.

   Fry for a few minutes, then raise the cabbage high in the middle of a dish and arrange slices of beef around it, alternating fat and lean.
