Blackberry Cordial. — To one gal- lon of pure blackberry-juice add 2 lbs. of loaf - sugar, a table - spoonful each of ground cloves and allspice, two grated nutmegs, and one tea- spoonful of ground cinnamon. Boil slowly for half an hour; take from the fire, let cool, and add a pint of good French brandy
