Blackberry Cake

Ingredients

• 1 cup hutter
• Yi cup sour cream
• 2 cups light brown sugar
• 2 tsp. cinnamon
• 6 eggs
• 2 tsp. cloves
• 2 cups blackberries (either canned or fresh)
• 2 tsp. allspice
• 1 tsp. bakmg powder
• 3 cups flour
• 2 tsp. soda

Method

   Cream sugar and butter, add one tsp. of spices, whip beaten eggs in — add one cup flour and tsp. spices.

   Add one cup flour, one tsp. spices, one cup blackberries, add baking powder to rest of flour.

   Add the sour cream and dissolve the soda in 1/2 cup warm water and add last.

   Bake in slow oven.

   Makes large cake.
