Berry Muffins

Ingredients

• 1/2 cupful of butter
• 1/3 cupful of sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 1/3 cupfuls of flour
• 3 teaspoonfuls of baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoonful of salt
• 1 cupful of milk
• 1 cupful of berries
• 1/3 cupful of flour

Method

   Cream butter, add sugar and beaten egg.

   Mix flour, baking powder, and salt.

   Add alternately with milk, then add berries rolled in flour.

   Fill gem pans and bake for twenty-five minutes.
