Beefsteak Smothered in Onions

Ingredients

• 6 onions
• 2 cups hot water
• 2 oz. butter
• some pepper
• salt
• dredge in flour

Method

1. 1

   Cut the onions fine, put them in a saucepan with hot water, butter, pepper, salt, and flour.

   Let stew until the onions are soft.

   Broil the steak, then put it into the saucepan with the onions and let simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.

   Serve very hot.
