Beef Soup (Mrs. Reynolds' Recipe)

Ingredients

• a shin-bone
• three onions
• one large white turnip
• a large handful of potatoes
• salt
• pepper

Method

   Put meat in cold water and boil until tender.

   Add vegetables and boil for about one hour.

   Stand away until the next day, skim off fat, chop celery, add brown flour, and strain vegetables if desired.
