Banana Pudding

Ingredients

• 2 cups milk
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/2 stick butter
• 5 eggs (sep.)
• 1 cup and 2 Tbsp. sugar
• 3 heaping Tbsp. of flour

Method

   Put flour on egg yolks and mix.

   Add a little milk gradually until it has the thickness of gravy.

   Combine sugar and milk in a double boiler and cook until sugar dissolves.

   Add egg mixture and cook until pudding thickens.

   Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.

   In a casserole, alternate layers of vanilla wafers, sliced bananas, and pudding.

   Top with meringue.
