Baked Macaroni with Cheese

Ingredients

• ? cup macaroni
• 2 quarts boiling water
• 1 tablespoon salt
• 2 tablespoons Purity Flour
• 2 tablespoons butter
• ^ cup grated cheese
• li cups scalded milk
• i cup buttered bread crumbs

Method

   Cook macaroni in boiling water for 20 minutes, drain, and blanch.

   Make a white sauce with butter, flour, and milk.

   Layer macaroni and cheese in a buttered dish, pour over sauce, cover with crumbs, and bake for 20 minutes in a hot oven.
