Baked Cod Fish

Ingredients

• One teacup of codfish picked fine and washed in several waters
• two cups mashed potatoes
• one pint sweet milk
• two eggs
• a good sized lump of butter
• pepper
• and salt if necessary

Method

   Let codfish cool in lukewarm water while mixing mashed potatoes with sweet milk, eggs, butter, pepper, and salt.

   Add codfish, mixing all together.

   Pour in pudding dish and bake about one-half hour.
