Asparagus in Ambush

Ingredients

• Two bunches of asparagus
• 8 stale biscuits
• 4 eggs
• about ^^ pi^^ of milk
• butter the size of an egg
• flour
• pepper
• salt

Method

   Boil the green tops of the asparagus until tender and mince finely.

   Crisp the biscuits in the oven, make the milk hot, pour in the beaten eggs, stir until thickened, then add butter rolled in flour and the asparagus.

   Spread the mixture on the rolls, put on the tops, and serve hot.
