Apple Sauce Cake

Ingredients

• 2 cups apple sauce
• 2 cups sugar
• 1% cups butter
• 2 eggs
• 2 cups raisins
• 2 cups walnuts
• 2 T. cocoa
• 1 t. allspice
• 1 t. cinnamon
• 3% cups flour
• 2 t. soda
• tet. salt
• 1% |b. cherries
• 1 lb. citron
• 2 lemon peels
• 2 orange peels
• 1 cup currants
• 3 slices pineapple

Method

   Heat apple sauce.

   Add butter.

   Beat eggs until creamy and add.

   Sift flour and spices together.

   Add flour and stir in well.

   Add fruits and nuts.

   Bake in floured pan for 2.5 hours at 300 F.
