APPLE DUMPLINGS -Mrs. A. K. Voss Make a rich biscuit dough. Roll out a piece of dough as thin as pie crust and cut in squares large enough to cover an apple. Put into the middle of each piece, two apple halves pared and cored. Put a pinch of cinnamon and a spoonful of sugar on the apples and lap the dough around them; lay the dumplings in a well buttered dripping pan. Put a piece of butter on each, and sprinkle over a large handful of sugar and turn in a cupful of boiling water
