Apple Crumb Pie

Ingredients

• 4 large tart apples
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• 1 unbaked pastry shell
• 3%4 cup grated biscuits
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/3 cup butter

Method

   Peel apples, cut into eighths, and arrange in unbaked pastry shell.

   Sprinkle with 0.5 cup sugar mixed with cinnamon.

   Sift remaining 0.25 cup sugar on 0.75 cup grated biscuits.

   Sprinkle over apples.

   Evenly distribute bits of 0.33 cup butter over apples.

   Bake in hot oven 450 F. about 10 min. reduce heat to moderate, 350, and bake 30 minutes or until apples are tender.
