Apple Crisp

Ingredients

• Slice 5 or 6 apples
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup flour
• 1/2 cup butter

Method

   Slice apples and place in shallow buttered baking dish.

   Pour water over apples and sprinkle with cinnamon.

   Make crumbs of sugar, flour, and butter.

   Put over sliced apples and bake in moderate oven for 30 or 40 minutes.

   Serve hot or warm with whipped cream on top.
