% cup milk 4 teaspoons baking powder 4 tablespoons shortening >^ cup broken nut meats Mix and sift dr\' ingredients. Cut in shortening. Add the Tnilk gradually to form soft dough. Cut into pieces one inch thick and put in greased muffin pans cut side up and bake fifteen minutes in hot oven (400° F.). Cut in shortening, add milk to make a soft dough. Turn onto floured moulding board, roll out to one inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter.
