REFRIGERATOR ROLLS 1 cup scalded milk 1 cake yeast 1/4 cup shortening 2 tablespoons lukewarm water 1/4 cup sugar 4 cups flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 egg well beaten Heat milk, shortening, sugar and salt until shortening is melted. Cool to lukewarm temperature. Add yeast which has been dissolved in water. Add egg and flour. Let rise, then mold into desired shapes or place in refrigerator until needed. Bake as for any hot rolls.
