crystallised muriate of ammonia. These ingredients should all be
powdered separately and then added to 1£ gallons of water.
Do not let foodstuffs come in contact with this liquid. It is
not poisonous, but may have a deleterious effect on the flavour.

A unique sandwich of great delicacy. Prepare brown bread
sandwiches as above, and immediately before serving add finely-
chopped mustard and cress, well rinsed and free from superfluous
water.
0X0 ON HOT BUTTERED TOAST.
The perfection of toast for cold days. Spread Oxo lightly over
well-buttered toast. Serve hot.
