Yellow Wash

Ingredients

• 3 lbs barites
• 4 lbs flour
• 1/2 lb chrome yellow
• 1/6 lb glue
• 1 1/2 gals water
• 1 qt water

Method

   Make the day before using.

   Heat 1.5 gallons of water and add the flour, mixed to a smooth paste.

   Dissolve the chrome in 1 quart of water and add it.

   Boil, stirring constantly, and adding barites slowly.

   Apply cold with a brush, and stir often while using.
