Yeast Muffins

Ingredients

• 1 pt milk
• 2 well-beaten eggs
• 3 tablesp yeast
• 1 scant teasp salt
• flour enough to make a stiff batter

Method

   Scald milk, cool slightly, add beaten eggs, yeast, salt, and enough flour to make a stiff batter.

   Let rise for 4-5 hours and bake in muffin rings in a hot oven for about 10 minutes.
