Whole Wheat Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 pound butter or margarine
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 2 cups brown sugar
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 4¥% cups whole wheat flour
• 3 eggs
• ¥Y2 pound chopped nut meats

Method

   Cream butter and sugar.

   Add eggs and blend well.

   Add flour, soda and spices, making a rather stiff dough.

   Lastly add nuts.

   Drop by spoonful on lightly greased cookie sheet.

   Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
