White Cake

Ingredients

• Three-fourths cup butter
• one and one-half cups sugar
• two eggs (whites only)
• one cup sour milk
• three cups swansdown flour
• one teaspoon baking powder
• three-fourths teaspoon soda
• one-half teaspoon vanilla

Method

   Cream the butter and sugar together.

   Add the egg whites and mix well.

   Combine the sour milk with the baking powder and soda.

   Alternate adding the flour and milk mixture to the creamed mixture.

   Finally, add the vanilla and mix until smooth.
