Vanilla Puff Fritters

Ingredients

• 1 cup water
• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 rounded tablespoons sugar
• 1 rounded cup flour
• 3 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

   Boil water with sugar and butter.

   Stir in flour all at once and cook until a firm paste forms.

   Remove from heat and work in eggs one at a time.

   Beat well.

   Drop pieces of batter into hot lard and fry until puffed and golden.
