Trifle

Ingredients

• 1 packet Green's “ Newstyle’’ Jelly, Orange Flavour
• 1 Juicy Orange
• about half a Sponge Sandwich made from Green’s Sponge Mixture
• Six-pennyworth of Cream

Method

   Cut up the Sponge Sandwich and arrange in a glass dish or about 6 Sundae Glasses.

   Dissolve the Jelly in hot water to make one pint, pour half into a basin and leave to cool.

   Add the Orange juice to the other half and pour over the Sponge.

   When the basin of Jelly has cooled and thickened, add the unwhisked Egg White and whisk for 5-6 minutes to a Jelly Sponge.

   Pour this over the Jelly and Sponge, and when set, cover with unwhisked Cream.
