Tomato Soup

Ingredients

• I level tablespoon-1 level teaspoonful salt
• I pint of tomatoes
• I pintofwater
• 1 level teaspoonful salt
• 1 level tablespoonful chopped onion
• 5 cloves parsley
• 1 level tablespoonful butter
• 4 level tablespoonful sugar
• A few pepper corns

Method

1. 1

   Cook all ingredients except Grape-Nuts, flour, and butter until tender.

   Rub through a sieve, thicken with flour and butter mixed before being stirred in.

   Add Grape-Nuts, simmer a few minutes, and serve hot.
