Tomato Barley Soup

Ingredients

• Six good sized tomatoes
• one large onion
• one large potato
• one half green sweet pepper
• one quart of water
• two dessertspoonfuls of barley
• one tablespoonful of butter
• salt and pepper

Method

   Cut all vegetables into small pieces, add salt, pepper, and water.

   Boil the vegetables and barley until tender.

   Add butter and serve.
