Ingredients

• three eggs
• half a pound of flour
• four ounces of castor sugar
• six ounces of fresh butter

Method

   Beat the yolks of the eggs and mix with flour and sugar.

   Beat the butter to a cream, add other ingredients gradually, mix thoroughly, roll out, cut into strips, twist into shape, brush with egg white and sugar, and bake in a moderate oven for twenty minutes.
