Succotash

Ingredients

• 1 quart lima beans
• 1 dozen ears of corn
• 1 cup of milk
• a good sized lump of butter

Method

   Boil lima beans until tender.

   Cut the corn off the ears, drain off water from beans, add corn, season and add butter.

   Add milk or more if too dry, cook 20 minutes after adding corn.
