Stuffed Cabbage

Ingredients

• I cabbage
• i cup bread-crums
• Butter or butter substitute
• 3 eggs
• Parsley
• i chopped onion
• Spices

Method

   Place cheese-cloth in a bowl and lay large cabbage leaves in it.

   Chop the middle of the cabbage fine and fry in butter until yellow.

   Remove from fire, add parsley, spices, bread-crums, eggs, and onion.

   Place mixture inside large cabbage leaves, tie up, and boil in salted water until tender (about thirty-five minutes).

   Remove from cloth, pour melted butter over it, sprinkle with bread-crums, and bake for five minutes.

   Serve with tomato sauce.
