STEAMED PUDDING

Ingredients

• 1 Qt. dried Bread Crumbs
• 1 Egg
• 1 C. New Orleans Molasses
• 1 tsp. Soda
• 1 C. hot Milk
• 1 tsp. Nutmeg
• 1 Tb. Butter, warmed in milk
• 2C. Raisins
• 1 CG. Flour

Method

   Pour into bowl or pan.

   Set in steamer over boiling water and steam for 2 hours.

   The bread must be ground or rolled so it is fine and mixes up well.
