Spinach Soup

Ingredients

• 2 quarts spinach
• 2 cups milk
• 6 cups cold water
• 1 clove of garlic
• bit of bay leaf
• 2 tablespoons chopped onion
• 1 teaspoon salt
• cayenne pepper
• celery salt
• 3 tablespoons butter
• 3 tablespoons flour

Method

   Cook spinach in cold water until tender; press through a sieve.

   Melt butter, add flour, and seasonings; combine with spinach mixture, cook five minutes, and serve.
