Spinach dressed in German Fashion

Ingredients

• 6 ozs. butter
• 1 oz. breadcrumbs
• some very finely minced onion
• a quarter of a pint of cream or good milk
• spinach

Method

   Wash the spinach clean, and boil for a quarter of an hour with some salt.

   Then squeeze quite dry, and cut very finely.

   Mix the butter, breadcrumbs, and minced onion, and cream or milk.

   Boil all together with the spinach, and serve.
