Southern Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

• 6 sweet potatoes, boiled.
• 1 cup brown sugar.
• Butter size of egg.
• 1/2 cup water.

Method

   Cut potatoes in half, lengthwise.

   Make a syrup of the sugar, water and butter, and pour over the potatoes.

   Sprinkle sugar and small bits of butter over the top and bake in a slow oven about an hour in a buttered pudding dish.
