Sour Cream Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 tbs. butter
• 2 tbs. crisco
• 3 c. sour cream
• Juice of 5 lemon
• Rind of one orange
• © eggs
• 1 &1/8c. sugar
• 1 3/4 c. plain flour
• 5 tsp. soda
• 5 tsp. salt

Method

   Cream butter and Crisco.

   Add sour cream, juice of lemon, rind of orange, and eggs.

   Beat well.

   Sift and beat in flour, soda, and salt.

   Drop batter from tsp. on greased bake sheet.

   Sprinkle with sugar and nuts.

   Bake 10 minutes at 375°.
