Soup (Hare)

Ingredients

• Remains of cold Roast Hare
• 2 oz. browned Flour
• 1 tablespoonful Brown Sugar
• 1 doz. Cloves
• ½ pint Port Wine
• 1 oz. whole Black Pepper
• a small Onion, Fried

Method

   Trim best parts of hare, chop bones, simmer in stock with seasoning for an hour.

   Strain over hare pieces, boil once.

3. 3

   Serve with toasted bread or small fried sippets.
