Snow Balls

Ingredients

• ½ cup lard
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 cups sour milk
• 1 teasp soda
• flour enough to make a batter

Method

   Mix lard with sugar, add eggs, sour milk with dissolved soda, and enough flour to make a batter stiffer than cake batter.

   Fill greased gem pans half full and bake quickly.

   Frost with boiled frosting while warm.
