Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients

• 6 medium-sized potatoes
• IMilk
• 2 tablespoons flour
• Salt and pepper
• 4 tablespoons butter

Method

   Pare raw potatoes and cut them into thin slices.

   Place in a baking-dish a layer of potato one inch deep, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle flour over each layer, and add bits of butter.

   Continue layering until all potatoes are used.

   Add milk until visible between slices, cover, and bake for one and a quarter hours or until tender.

   Remove cover during the last fifteen minutes to brown the top.
