Sausage Stuffing

Ingredients

• ½ lb. sausage meat
• ½ lb. stale bread
• A little hot milk or water
• 2 table- sps. chopped onion
• 1 oz. butter or dripping
• Seasoning
• 1 dessert- sp. chopped parsley
• 1 egg

Method

   Soak the bread in milk or water until soft, then squeeze dry.

   Melt butter or dripping in a small saucepan, add chopped onion, and cook for 5-10 minutes without browning.

   Mix all ingredients together, binding with beaten egg.
