Sausage and Macaroni Mould

Ingredients

• 1 oz. macaroni
• 1 level tablespoon flour
• little milk or water
• drop of gravy browning
• 4 oz. sausage meat
• little grated onion
• seasoning
• 1 level tablespoon chopped parsley
• pinch of herbs

Method

   Cook the macaroni in boiling salted water till tender, then strain.

   Return one teacup macaroni liquid to pan, mix with a little cold water or milk and stir into the hot liquid.

   Stir till the mixture boils and thickens.

   Add browning, then add the other ingredients.

   Keep the mixture firm.

   Steam in a greased and covered basin for 45 minutes.

   Turn out and serve with vegetables and gravy.
