Salad Dressing without Oil No. 2

Ingredients

• 4 raw eggs
• 1 cup butter
• 1 1/4 pints vinegar
• 1 cup cream
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 even teaspoon mustard
• 1 even salt spoon red pepper

Method

   Stir all together as directed in mayonnaise except the vinegar, beating it all the time.

   Place it in a double boiler till it boils; then remove and beat in slowly the vinegar.

   This will keep for weeks, corked tight, in a cool place.
