Ryzon Kiss-Me-Quicks

Ingredients

• 4 tablespoonfuls honey
• 2 level cupfuls (i pound) sugar
• 8 tablespoonfuls water
• yi level teaspoonful Ryzon
• I pinch of salt
• I level cupful (X pound) chopped English walnut meats
• I teaspoonful rose extract
• I teaspoonful orange extract

Method

1. 1

   Put into a saucepan, honey, sugar, water and Ryzon and stir over the fire with a wooden spoon until sugar is dissolved.

   Let it boil quickly, stirring gently all the time, until it forms a soft ball when tried in cold water, or 240° F. by candy thermometer.

   Take pan from fire, stir in salt, nuts, and extracts and beat until creamy.

   Pour into a buttered tin, let cool, and cut into neat squares.
