Rough on Grease. — The following will be found a most excellent preparation for taking grease-spots from carpets or other fabrics : Four ounces white Castile soap, four ounces alcohol, two ounces ether, three ounces ammonia, one ounce glycerine. Cut the soap fine ; dissolve in one quart soft water over the fire ; then add four quarts more soft water
