Rolly-Poly Pudding

Ingredients

• one pint of white potatoes
• one tea-cupful of butter
• two pints of sifted flour
• one-half pint of sour milk
• one-half tea-spoonful of soda

Method

   Mix mashed potatoes with butter, flour, and sour milk mixed with soda.

   Roll out, spread with preserves, roll up, tie in cloth, and boil for two hours.

   Serve with sauce.
